Senior Procurement Consultant Jon Olsen to Retire on July 31

The Kentucky APEX Accelerator extends its warmest congratulations to Senior Procurement Consultant Jon Olsen on his upcoming retirement.

Jon joined the Kentucky APEX Accelerator in 2016, and over the past nine years, he has been an exceptional resource for Kentucky businesses navigating the government contracting process. In his role, Jon has provided tailored coaching and support to clients throughout Lexington and the surrounding region.

Before his time with the Kentucky APEX Accelerator, Jon served with distinction for 30 years in the federal government. His career included roles such as Contract Specialist, Contract Negotiator, Contracting Officer and Procurement Manager, bringing invaluable insight and experience to his work with our clients.

As he enters retirement, Jon said that he looks forward to enjoying a slower pace of life, traveling more, visiting his children and grandchildren, and taking some time for hobbies.

Jon’s last day with the Kentucky APEX Accelerator will be July 31, 2025. Clients currently working with Jon will receive communication in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition of services.
